Hussey's congregation split in 1696, with some going to the meeting in Green Street, Cambridge, and again after he had left for London, in 1721, with a group founding the precursor of St Andrew's Street Baptist Church, Cambridge.
It is perhaps the bitterest of the London rivalries and there have been a number of films portraying it, most notably Green Street and Green Street 2: Stand Your Ground.

In 2005, aged only eleven years old, he was selected to play himself as a West Ham United Academy player on Lexi Alexander's film Green Street.
