Albert Bartholomé

Paul-Albert Bartholomé (1848 in Thiverval-Grignon, Yvelines, France – 1928 in Paris), was a French painter and sculptor and is inhumed in the 4th division of the Père Lachaise Cemetery.

Château Bayard

In 1865, Jean-Baptiste Bertrand, a priest of Grignon, arranged the remains of the castle as a residence for his retirement by repairing part of the masonry as well as possible, with the assistance of the legal owner.

Léon Maquenne
