Bent Sea is a grindcore band created by drummer Dirk Verbeuren (Soilwork, Scarve, Aborted, Phaze I).
He formerly played reunion shows with legendary grindcore band Carcass from 2007-2010 as their original drummer Ken Owen could not play due to complications from a brain hemorrhage he had in 1999.
The band then went on to release their second album, this time with record label Dynamic Arts Records, entitled Doomsday Comfort, featuring the guest vocals of Mieszko Talarczyk, vocalist and guitarist of Swedish grindcore band Nasum.

However, their third album We Deserve Much Worse, saw the band drop the death metal elements of their music in favour of a faster-paced grindcore style.
