Pre-match entertainment included a performance by Australian rock band Grinspoon.

It has been covered by The Audreys, The Bravery, Everclear, Face to Face, Goo Goo Dolls, Grinspoon, Zero (a post-punk band from Uruguay, covered the song with the title No cambies), A Fire Inside and also most recently by Lazlo Bane.
The band recorded the debut album, Autumn in the Platinum Desert, under the stewardship of producer Phil McKellar (Silverchair, Grinspoon, Spiderbait) and traveled to New York to have the album mixed.
First of all, country singer Kasey Chambers was one of the acts, which was very out of alignment with the other acts - Grinspoon, Alex Lloyd, Sonic Animation, Superheist, Motor Ace, You Am I and Pacifier.
The song was performed by Grinspoon at the closing ceremony of the 2006 Commonwealth Games.
With the release of the EP, Tom Ugly toured around Australia, playing festivals and supporting headline acts such as Groove Armada at the Hordern Pavilion and Sia Furler at the Enmore Theatre as well as other acts including Simian Mobile Disco, Grinspoon, The Grates, Children Collide, Art vs. Science, Evermore, etc.
It is also a popular venue during the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January and artists such as John Butler Trio, The Baileys, John Williamson, Pete Murray, The Waifs, Missy Higgins, Grinspoon, Xavier Rudd and Kasey Chambers have all played at the club.
