Abenab

Abenab is a village some 32 km north of Grootfontein.

Central !Kung

Central !Kung (Central !Xuun), or Central Ju, is a recently distinguished variety of the !Kung dialect cluster, spoken in a small area of northern Namibia: Neitsas, in Grootfontein district, and Gaub, in Tsumeb district.

Kavango Region

There was a particular dearth of north-south roads in the Region, apart from the Rundu-Grootfontein main road.

Namibian Air Force

The Namibia Air Force was commissioned on 13 March 2005 at Grootfontein Air Base.

Otavi
