In 1979 he joined Petersen Publishing Company, where he served as Associate Editor for Guns & Ammo, Editor for Guns & Ammo Speciality Publications, Field Editor for Blade magazinne, Executive Editor at Petersen's Hunting magazine and from 1983 to 1994 Editor of Petersen's Hunting Magazine.
In 1995, Stockman wrote an article for Guns & Ammo claiming that the Waco siege had been orchestrated by the Clinton administration in order "to prove the need for a ban on so-called 'assault weapons.'" He wrote further that "had Bill Clinton really been unhappy with what Attorney General Janet Reno ordered, he would not only have fired her, he would have had Reno indicted for premeditated murder."

The arena also serves as the site of commencement exercises for several of the university's colleges, and has hosted concerts by artists such as Whitney Houston, *NSYNC, Metallica, Guns 'n Roses, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, and speeches by Former President Bill Clinton and Desmond Tutu.
In May 2009, Forscutt appeared in Australian Country Music Great Steve Forde's music video Guns & Guitars.

He was also on the staff of the magazines Guns&Ammo and Shooting Times, and was an instructor at the Trinidad State Junior College from 1946 to 1951, where he did much experimentation in the field of firearms.
