Anders Hallberg (born 29 April 1945 in Vetlanda) is a Swedish chemist who was rector magnificus of Uppsala University from July 2006 until December 2011.
He is married to painter Beverly Hallberg, who specializes in both abstract and impressionist landscapes, and is the father of the bestselling non-fiction writer Rebecca Skloot, whose work includes The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks.
The hunting lodge was probably built in 1730 by the lords of Hallberg from Fußgönheim, who had leased the local hunting grounds from the prince-electors.
