Hambletonian 10, 1849–1876, a foundation sire of the harness racing breed known as the Standardbred.
DuQuoin is the former home of the Hambletonian (from 1957 to 1980), and was the home of the World Trotting Derby from 1981 to 2009, two of the world's largest harness races.
Hambletonian 10 was bred by Jonas Seely, Jr. on his farm at Sugar Loaf in Orange County, New York.

Hambletonian's dam was known as the Charles Kent Mare or the "Kent Mare" by Bellfounder (GB), an imported Norfolk Trotter.
