Kenway's brother, Richard, represented the Hampshire Cricket Board in three List A matches in the 2001 and Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophies, both of which were played in 2001.
He stood in six further List A matches, the last of which was between the Hampshire Cricket Board and Staffordshire in the 2003 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy.
He also briefly represented the Hampshire Cricket Board side in the Natwest Trophy, having played 4 seasons of club cricket in England for the Liphook and Ripsley Cricket Club.
During the Hampshire Cricket Board's chase, he took two catches and took the wickets of Rajesh Maru and James Tomlinson, to finish with figures of 2/17 from five overs, helping Huntingdonshire to 28 run victory.
