During the petition drive he conducted for the 2002 marriage initiative, the Massachusetts Attorney General issued a press release warning citizens about the possible “bait and switch” tactics being implemented during the petition gathering process.

Eesti Aeg

He was born in Dønna, and graduated as dr.philos. with the treatise The novelist as short story writer : a study of William Faulkner's short stories with special emphasis on the period 1928-1932 at the University of Oslo.

Two Planets

The 1948 abridgement, with "incidental parts" of the text taken from the 1969 version, was the basis of the first translation into English by Hans H. Rudnick, published in hardcover by Southern Illinois University Press in 1971.
