Their early history is not completely known but by 1607, they were living in Harlington, Bedfordshire, at Harlington House – now known as Harlington Manor.
1830: the first English National Steeplechase on record was run from Bury Orchard to Wrest Park Obelisk.
Rachael Wooding, a performer in the musical theatre who toured in the title role of Evita in 2009, was born in Harlington.
Toddington is situated on a chalky plateau, Totternhoe Stone, which rises up to 100 ft above the other Mid-Bedfordshire villages (e.g. Westoning, Harlington, Flitwick).

From Harlington station, you can travel north to Flitwick and Bedford, or south to Luton, Luton Airport Parkway, St Albans, St Pancras International, Gatwick Airport and Brighton.
Built at Harlington the F.2 was transported by road to Northolt Aerodrome where it first flew on 17 May 1917; however, by then Admiralty interest in the project had waned.
As well as Harlington village itself, the station also serves the villages of Barton-le-Clay, Toddington and Westoning.
The Church of St Peter is found at the centre of the village of Barnburgh, near Doncaster, in South Yorkshire, and serves the communities of Barnburgh and Harlington.
