Joel Apezteguía Hijuelos (born 17 December 1983 in Plaza de la Revolución, Havanna) is a Cuban professional footballer who currently plays for Teuta Durrës in the Albanian Superliga.
Diercks himself helped the spread of pilottone in the USA when he was the only Western reporter allowed to shoot in Havanna during the Bay of Pigs Invasion in April 1961.
