M'Haya is a small town and rural commune in Meknès-El Menzeh Prefecture of the Meknès-Tafilalet region of Morocco.
It is Egyptian Arts Group’s first project which enjoyed big success, being run for 3 times on all major Egyptian TV Channels including Cairo Centric, CBC, Al Haya TV, Dream TV, Mehwar and Orbit.
Summa and Famiglietti went on to write and perform a version of Haya Doin'? at the Feast of San Gennaro, where Yankee batting practice pitcher Charlie Wonsowicz was in attendance.
Other ethnic groups in the region, in much smaller proportions, include the Zinza, Haya, Sumbwa, Nyamwezi, Luo, Kurya, Jita, and Kerewe.
Princess Haya participated in the 2002 FEI World Equestrian Games in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain and the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia representing Jordan in show jumping, where she was also her country’s flag bearer.
Her first appearance was as a doll in a stage play called Haya Vadan (1969) along with Kalpana Lajmi.
