She is the sister-in-law of fellow British runner Hayley Yelling through her marriage to steeplechaser Martin Yelling and is the former training partner of Paula Radcliffe.
She rebounded the following month with a win at the Belfast International Cross Country, beating Anikó Kálovics and Cross Country Champion Hayley Yelling to the finish line.
