She sang backup with Amy Grant on the Straight Ahead, Unguarded, and Heart in Motion tours and released two solo albums in the late 1980s.

It was later released through itunes on Mother's Day 2009 on the EP of the same name which also included "Baby Baby" from the Heart in Motion album, "Oh How the Years Go By" from House of Love and the previously unreleased song "Unafraid".
Heart in Motion produced the hit singles "Baby Baby", "Every Heartbeat", "That's What Love Is For" and "Good for Me", all of which made it into the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, with the first two reaching No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.
