Oehring has also worked with different artists from all areas such as Ruth Berghaus, Ulrike Ottinger, Till Nikolaus von Heiseler, Daniele Abbado, Claus Guth and Maxim Dessau, the choreographer Joachim Schlömer as well as the conductors Ingo Metzmacher, Lothar Zagrosek, Martyn Brabbins and Roland Kluttig.
In 2008 she recorded as Salomix-Max as a tribute to soprano Cathy Berberian, music of Cole Porter, Luciano Berio, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Valentin Görner, Carola Bauckholt, Tarquinio Merula, Alban Berg, Harold Arlen, Rudi Spring, Kurt Weill, Helmut Oehring and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.
Visual artists such as Hubertus Giebe and composers such as Kalevi Aho or Helmut Oehring have taken up motives from The Aesthetics of Resistance in their paintings and compositions.
