At the Royal Danish Theatre she has appeared in a number of productions, among them Marx and Coca Cola, Molière's The Learned Ladies, Henrik Hertz's Sparekassen (The Savings Bank), Jess Ørnsbo's Majonæse (Mayonnaise), Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman, and David Hare's A Breath of Life.

Henrik Hertz

His historical tragedy Valdemar Aiterdag was not so well received in 1839; but in 1845 he achieved an immense success with his lyrical drama Kong Renes Datter ("King René's Daughter"), which has been translated into almost every European language.

This was a highly romanticised account of the life of Yolande, Duchess of Lorraine.

Johanne Luise Heiberg

To a whole generation of Danish dramatists she was the muse and especially she inspired Henrik Hertz to write many of his main female roles for her.
