The Hershey Bears, based in Hershey, Pennsylvania, transfer from the Eastern Amateur Hockey League to the I-AHL as an expansion team, playing in the West Division.
He also played the 1970–71 season in the Central Hockey League with the Kansas City Blues and Amarillo Wranglers, and then played two seasons with the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League before retiring following the 1972–73 season.

On July 5, 2007, Pollock was signed by the Washington Capitals to a two-way deal but left the Capitals minor league team, the Hershey Bears, in December 2007 to play with CSKA Moscow in the Russian Superleague.
