NBC picked up the program on June 16 and made Down You Go more comedy-oriented, with new host Bill Cullen and a regular celebrity panel of Jayne Mansfield, Jimmy Nelson, Hildy Parks, and Arthur Treacher.
Parks made her screen debut in The Night Holds Terror (1955) opposite Vince Edwards, but her film career was sporadic, with minor appearances in Fail-Safe (1964), Seven Days in May (1964), and The Group (1966).
On rare occasions the theater has been rented to commercial producers, such as Alexander H. Cohen and Hildy Parks, who presented Peter Brook's production of La Tragedie de Carmen in 1983.
