David Bartlett

His education started at Mount Nelson Primary School, with secondary education at Taroona High School and Hobart College.

James Milnor Coit

He was educated at Hobart College, and in 1876, he became master in natural sciences at his alma mater, St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire, where he was appointed vice rector in 1904.

Leland Stowe

In addition to the Pulitzer Prize, Stowe also received the Légion d'honneur, the Military Cross of Greece, and honorary degrees from Harvard University, Wesleyan, and Hobart College, amongst other honors.

Morrison I. Swift

Swift briefly assumed the presidency of Hobart College where he built up the college’s library and gained a reputation for assigning post-graduate level work to undergraduates.

William Robert Brooks

Brooks went on to become Director of the Smith Observatory at Hobart College, Geneva, New York, where he lectured and undertook his astronomical research.
