Nershi is currently active in multiple projects, including SCI, Honkytonk Homeslice as well as a project with Leftover Salmon mandolinist Drew Emmitt, known as the Emmitt-Nershi Band.
In 2007, Emmitt and Bill Nershi of The String Cheese Incident and Honkytonk Homeslice started a project dubbed the Emmitt-Nershi Band.
