The 2007/2008 season of the Hoofdklasse started in August 2007 and will end in May 2008.
In 2001 she was named as the best batter in the Dutch Softball Hoofdklasse.
In 2002 she stole the most bases in the Dutch Softball Hoofdklasse.
Walsma debuted in the Hoofdklasse in 2005 and went 1-6 with a 5.11 ERA, walking 38 in 44 innings for the Amsterdam Pirates; he was 5th in the league in free passes.
In 2002 and 2005 she was named the best pitcher of the Dutch Softball Hoofdklasse; in 2004 she was the MVP of the league.
On January 2010, the exclusion of bankrupt HFC Haarlem from the Eerste Divisie reduced the number of scheduled relegations to one only, and led the federation to announce that this vacancy would be filled by an additional Hoofdklasse club.
