Eimsheim

The saint, who died in Hornbach near Zweibrücken – his last place of work – was one of Southwest Germany’s most important missionaries.

Hartmann Grasser

Grasser shot down a French Curtiss H75 fighter near Hornbach on 24 September, which marked his first victory over an aircraft.

Hieronymus Bock

He became the prince's physician and caretaker of the kitchen garden of the count palatine and in 1533 received a life-time position as a Lutheran minister in nearby Hornbach where he stayed up to his death in 1554.
