The Hulman Building (originally Central Union Bank it also became a Morris Plan Bank) is a ten story art deco high rise in downtown Evansville, Indiana.
In 2001, the Indiana Department of Homeland Security renamed their search-and-rescue training area at Camp Atterbury the Mari Hulman George Search and Rescue Training Center, in recognition of her contributions to the care of animals displaced and otherwise affected by disasters.
Mary Fendrich Hulman (March 13, 1905 - April 10, 1998) was the wife of the late Indiana industrialist Anton "Tony" Hulman, Jr. and matriarch of the Hulman-George family which today controls Hulman & Company, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Indy Racing League.
It was ploughed up sometime before 1930 by peasant farmer Štefan Hulman–Petrech in Podkovica near the village of Moravany nad Váhom in Slovakia.
