The Hungaroring is a motor-racing circuit in Mogyoród, Hungary where the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix is held.

The first race was held on March 24, 1986, in memory of János Drapál, the first Hungarian who won motorcycle Grand Prix races.

According to a survey put together by the national tourism office of Hungary, Mogyoród ranks third among Hungarian destinations visited by tourists, behind the Danube Bend area and Lake Balaton, but ahead of Budapest.
The 2012 Hungaroring GP2 Series round and the 2012 Hungaroring GP3 Series round was a group of motor races held at the Hungaroring circuit near Mogyoród in Hungary for the GP2 and GP3 Series championships.
In 2001, Michael Schumacher equalled Alain Prost's then record 51 Grand Prix wins at the Hungaroring, in the drive which also secured his 4th World Title which also matched Prost's career tally.
