Dr. Bach (Peter Alexander) and his nephew Jan (Heintje Simons) move to Baden-Baden, where Bach is assigned to the notorious Class 12a of the Mommsen-Gymnasium.

The tracks were primarily recorded over six weeks in 1988 at Ridge Farm, a picturesque residential recording studio in Surrey, England.

The band were invited to support U2 at Wembley Arena, and played as the opening act on the first dates of The Joshua Tree tour in June, 1987.
On one such drive, Olney, John Ringo, Ike Clanton, and Al Turner hurrahed the town of Safford, Arizona, a typical cowboy behavior.
The group performed at some of New York's most high-profile rock clubs - including Hurrah, Max's Kansas City, the Mudd Club, the Ritz, the original Peppermint Lounge, and Irving Plaza - and toured up and down the East Coast.
