Pelé runaround move

Swedish player Jesper Blomqvist managed to perform a variant of the Pele runaround move with more success, adding a fake, that resulted in a goal when his IFK Göteborg played Helsingborgs IF in the Allsvenskan in 1995.


1908 Svenska Mästerskapet Final

The 1908 Svenska Mästerskapet Final was played on 11 October 2011 between the first-time finalists IFK Göteborg and the second-time finalists IFK Uppsala.

1990 Allsvenskan

Allsvenskan champions IFK Göteborg won the competition and the Swedish championship after defeating IFK Norrköping who finished as runners-up in the league.

Dennis Schiller

During his entire career, Schiller played for his hometown club IFK Göteborg, Norwegian Lillestrøm SK (where he stayed for almost ten years helping the side to win the Norwegian league in 1989) and finally Molde FK.

In 2009, Pavey helped AIK to an unprecedented league and cup double, scoring a vital goal against local rivals Hammarby in the penultimate match of the season and then featuring in the Swedish Cup final in which AIK beat IFK Göteborg 2-0.
