KCWY-DT

KCWY signed on the air in February 2001 as an affiliate of the Pax TV network.

KFPH-DT

On August 31, 1998, the station became a charter affiliate of Pax TV (now Ion Television) and the station's call letters were changed to KBPX.

KQEG-CA

KQEG currently features much of the main programming schedule (non paid programming) of the Ion network.

In May 2009, KQEG's programming was revamped as the station began an affiliation with the Ion television network; this included the discontinuation of the 7 p.m. airing of WXOW's 6 p.m. newscast.

KSNB-TV

During the early 2000s, KSNB and KTVG would pick up a secondary affiliation with Pax (which was renamed i: Independent Television on July 1, 2005 and Ion Television on January 29, 2007); the Ion affiliation was later discontinued.

KXLT-TV

In 1997, Paxson decided to sell KXLT to raise money to launch the Pax network (today's Ion Television).

KXPX-LP

KXPX's call sign derives from its former affiliation with Pax TV (now Ion Television), which commenced upon the network's launch in 1998.

However, officials later changed their mind, and on August 11, moved the pending affiliation to a secondary arrangement through Ion Television owned-and-operated affiliate WEPX-TV (and its full-time satellite, WPXU-TV).

In the fall of 2013, the station's 6 p.m. newscast began to be simulcasted on a half-hour delay on Louisville's Ion Television station, WBNA (Channel 21); that station also airs the midday newscast of fellow NBC affiliate WAVE in Louisville.

WNMN

While it searched for its own affiliation, WCWF finally began broadcasting September 11, 2007 as a repeater of Ion Television affiliate WWBI-LP, the owners of which held a stake in the station.

The station initially aired programming from the Home Shopping Network (sharing the affiliation with Holly Springs, Mississippi-based WBUY-TV, channel 40), until Paxson Communications (now Ion Media Networks) began operating the station under a local marketing agreement in 1998, when the station became a charter affiliate of the upstart Pax TV network (now Ion Television).

KNLC

Pax TV (now Ion Television) offered to affiliate with KNLC after losing its St. Louis area affiliate, KUMO-LP (channel 51, a repeater of Mount Vernon, Illinois station WPXS), in 2004, but the station also turned it down.
