Alexander Nikolayevich Serov (Александр Николаевич Серов; born 24 March 1951 in Kovalivka, Mykolaiv Oblast, Ukrainian SSR) is a Ukrainian-born Russian popular singer who is best known for early success in the Russian language with the songs of Igor Krutoy.
During that period Igor Krutoy worked also as the artistic director of Valentina Tolkunova band and was giving performances accompanying famous Russian actor Yevgeny Leonov.
The whole set of songs composed by Fabian with Igor Krutoy is in English, French, Italian, Spanish and also in Russian.
The jury panel included television and music producers: Yuriy Aksyuta, Kim Breitburg, Alexander Dulov, Igor Krutoy, Alexander Lunyov, Vladimir Matetsky, Ruben Oganesov, Larisa Sinelschikova, Maxim Fadeev, as well as the secretary of organising committee of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in the Government of the Russian Federation, Alexander Barannikov and head of the Humanitarian Cooperation Council of CIS countries, Dzhohan Pollyeva.
