Arjunan Kadhali (Eng:Arjunan's Lover) is an upcoming Tamil language film directed by Parthy Baskar, nephew of composer Ilayaraja who earlier directed Bambara Kannaley.
Ilayaraja christened her Minmini, making her name more appealing to the Tamilians.Minmini's first Telugu movie is "Aathmabandham" music by Maragathamani (Keeravani).
On 6 March 2009, 2 Indian Air Force test pilots, Wing Commander Praveen Kotekoppa and Wing Commander Dipesh Shah along with a Flight Test Engineer Squadron Leader Ilayaraja, were killed when the second prototype Saras aircraft crashed and caught fire in an open field near Bidadi, about 30 km from Bangalore.
The film features three songs written by noted poet O. N. V. Kurup and composed by Ilayaraja.
The song "En Vaazhvile" was reused from Hindi song "Hey Zindagi" which Ilayaraja composed for Sadma, Hindi remake of Moondram Pirai.
