Sulyman Age Abdulkareem is a professor of chemical engineering and vice chancellor of Al-Hikmah University in Ilorin, Nigeria.
She had her secondary school education at Queens School, Ilorin, and her tertiary education at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Armstrong College in California, where she studied economics and accountancy.
Halimat Ismaila (born July 3, 1984 in Ilorin, Kwara) is a Nigerian athlete who won a bronze medal in 4x100 metre relay at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
He completed postgraduate study at Pembroke College, Oxford then left for Nigeria in 1950 where he worked for ten years in the Colonial Service as District Officer in various regions of Northern and Western Nigeria, including Ilorin, Western Region.
He subsequently secured appointment in 1976 at the then University College, Ilorin, later University of Ilorin, where he served as the first Head of Department and dean of the Faculty of Education with responsibility of providing leadership in the formulation and initiation of the degree programmes of that faculty.
Segun Moses Toriola, born 18 September 1974 in Ilorin, Kwara, Nigeria is a Nigerian professional table tennis player.
It was established by a decree of the Federal Military Government in 1975 and is a federal government owned tertiary institution of education located in Ilorin, Kwara State, western Nigeria.
He served as a Visiting Professor and Head, Department of Languages, Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, from October 2011 to October 2012.
