Dark Streets features 12 original songs written by James Compton, Tim Brown and Tony DeMeur, performed by stars Bijou Phillips and Izabella Miko (actually sung by the Irish chanteuse Imelda May) as well as artists including Dr. John, Etta James, Natalie Cole, Aaron Neville, Solomon Burke, Chaka Khan and Richie Sambora.
This year it will celebrate its fourth year with a greater audience expected to attend – such as a headlining performance from Irish Rockabilly singer Imelda May.

From 2008 onwards he has also found success as lead guitarist in the Imelda May band, whose albums Love Tattoo and Mayhem reached number one in Ireland, as well as having toured the US as support acts to Jeff Beck and Jamie Cullum.
On Voice Of Ages The Chieftains team up with a number of musical stars from the worlds of indie-rock (Bon Iver, The Decemberists, The Low Anthem), country and Americana (The Civil Wars, Pistol Annies, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Punch Brothers), and Irish folk (Imelda May, Lisa Hannigan and Scottish folk Paolo Nutini).
