Lives Worth Living is a 2011 documentary film directed by Eric Neudel and produced by Alison Gilkey, and broadcast by PBS through ITVS, as part of the Independent Lens series.
A documentary film called Miss Navajo, directed by Billy Luther (who is Navajo, Hopi, and Laguna), was filmed in 2005 and 2006, released in 2006, and shown on the Independent Lens documentary series on PBS in 2007.
Its has also distributed nine Academy Award nominated films including The Collector of Bedford Street, and four Emmy Award-winning titles, as well as films that have been broadcast on P.O.V., Independent Lens, HBO and other national programs.
It was purchased by PBS and aired nationwide on Independent Lens October 19, 2010, opening the series' 2010 season.

Nationally broadcast on Independent Lens on PBS, it tells the story of The Greensboro Four, four young college freshman, Joe McNeil, David Richmond, Franklin McCain and Ezell Blair Jr. now Jibreel Khazan, who staged a sit-in at Woolworth's in 1960 to protest segregation practices.
Garbage Dreams aired on the PBS program Independent Lens for the occasion of Earth Day 2010 and has been screened in many international film festivals.
