George Inness, Jr. (1854-1926), an American figure and landscape artist, and son of George Inness
Inness worked as a teacher, and then a guidance Councillor at Barrie North Collegiate Institute up until early 2010, after which he retired.
Inness was the subject of a major retrospective in 1884, organized by the American Art Association, which brought him acclaim in the United States.
She married New York publisher Hugh Alwyn Inness-Brown, Sr., on March 26, 1921, in Lillington, North Carolina.
