Brazilian bands Cólera, Inocentes, Olho Seco and Ratos de Porão also played a major role in defining the band's lyrics which tried to describe the surreal political situation of Brazil in the mid 80's.
Oscar Inocentes is the eighth chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority of the Republic of the Philippines.
The album's name alludes to the Brazilian music festival O Começo do Fim do Mundo, that happened in 1982 and promoted many underground punk bands such as Ratos de Porão, Inocentes and Cólera.
