František Neuwirt

He followed Jan Jesenský as head of the Prague Stomatology Clinic until his death, was a member of the Bohemian Academy, a member of International Association for Dental Research (IADR), whose Honorary Vice-President he became in 1939–1940, and co-founder of its Prague Section in 1932.

Harold Hodge

He received a number of honors and awards during his career, and he was president of the International Association for Dental Research in 1947, president of the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (1966-1967), president of the Association of Medical School Pharmacologists (1968-1970).
