On October 17, 2011, it was confirmed that Hyoyeon would be joining for the second season of Invincible Youth, a Korean reality show alongside with Sunny.
He was also on the first season of KBS2's Invincible Youth for a short time in the role of a mentor after the show had recently undergone a cast change.
