Iria: Zeiram the Animation

IRIA was adapted into a Japan-only video game for the Super Famicom called Hyper Iria, although it does not seem to follow the storyline of the OVA very closely.

Zeiram

The film Zeiram was followed by a live-action sequel, Zeiram 2, as well as an OVA prequel miniseries called Iria: Zeiram the Animation and two videogames, Hyper Iria and Zeiram Zone.


92nd Armored Division

In September 1980, among the units garrisoned along the Iraqi border, the IRIA had the 92nd Armored "Khuzestan" Division, with three armored brigades equipped with Chieftain MBTs and M-113 APCs (including the 283rd Armored Cavalry Battalion), including the 1st Brigade west of Khorramshahr and south of Ahwaz, 2nd Brigade west of Dezful, and 3rd west of Ahvaz.

Iria Flavia or simply Iria in Galicia, northwestern Spain, was a Celtiberian port, the main seat of the Caporos, on the road between Braga and Astorga.

Nuno Álvares Pereira

Nuno Álvares Pereira was born on June 24th, 1360, in Flor da Rosa, near Crato, central Portugal, the illegitimate son of Dom Álvaro Gonçalves Pereira, Prior of Crato and Iria Gonçalves do Carvalhal.

Pedro Álvares Pereira

He was the son of Iria Gonçalves do Carvalhal and Álvaro Gonçalves Pereira, to whom he succeed after his death as patriarch of the Pereira family and as Prior of Crato (leader of the Knights Hospitaller in Portugal).
