Khan Abdul Ali Khan (20 August 1922 - 19 February 1997) was a Pakistani educationist, former Principal of Islamia College Peshawar, Fazle Haq College Mardan, Aitchison College, former Vice Chancellor of Peshawar University, Gomal University and former Education Secretary.
The memorial built in the Indo-Mughal style by William Ingram Keir, who also designed the Kidderpore Bridge, buildings at Bengal Engineering and Science University in Shibpur, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and Islamia College, and also replaced the 1934 earthquake affected spire of St. Paul's Cathedral, Kolkata with a tower.
Earlier to law degree he also did his masters in English from Islamia College Civil Lines, while studying in college he was chief prefect and was made chairman of the advisory council of the college.

Apart from his support of the establishment of the Islamia College, Peshawar, and support to various Indian Muslim charities, he played a considerable role in the early development of his native Haripur area in Hazara, NWFP.
At Islamia College, Peshawar, he was among the pioneers who put Pushto literature on the 'modern' track.
For this purpose, Military Wings were started in 1952 in Government College, Sahiwal, and Islamia College, Peshawar.
Later he joined Al Sarwat school finally moving to Iqbal Memorial Institute and Islamia College for higher studies.
After leaving Harrow in 1933, he took over as principal of Islamia College in Peshawar, Pakistan, in which position he served for seven years until 1940, when he joined The Doon School in Dehradun.
With the growth of the college, in 1997, under the name of Lockhat Islamia College, the high school moved to Umbilo Road, Durban while the primary school was moved to Westville.
He was residing in tribal territory, which was outside British control, so Nawab Sahib prevailed upon Sir George Roos-Keppel and the British to permit Haji Sahib to enter British controlled territory for one day so he could lay the foundation stone of Islamia College.
