Jack Smethurst (born 9 April 1932 in Collyhurst, Manchester) is an English TV and film comic actor whose career dates back to the 1950s.

He has appeared in TV dramas including Casualty, Marple and Lewis, is the son of Love Thy Neighbour star Jack Smethurst, and is married to fellow actor Rakie Ayola, with whom he has one daughter and is expecting a second.
In 1996, in a company that he co founded with Ian Dickens, Phil appeared in a touring production of There's a Girl in my soup with Jack Smethurst, Deborah McAndrew and Tony Scannel.
