Sher Bahadur Singh is a politician in Uttar Pradesh, India and a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing Ambedkar Nagar district, sometimes written Ambedkarnagar, in Jalalpur.
During this battle, which was fought across the river, Alexander’s horse Bucephalus was killed but his remains were brought back and buried close to Jalalpur Sharif where subsequently Alexander built a city named after his horse.
