Always a New Beginning is a 1974 American documentary film directed by John D. Goodell, about the founding and operation of The Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential.
On January 2, 1945, Governor Earl Warren appointed Goodell an Associate Justice of the District Court of Appeal, First Appellate District, Division Two in place of Homer R. Spence who was elevated to the California Supreme Court on the same day.
It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names after Janice G. Goodell of the United States Geological Survey, Woods Hole, Massachusetts, a support member of the Glacier Studies Project Team from the early 1990s onwards.
