The album wound up in the hands of Gut Records who offered to remaster the recording (as it was deemed too acerbic and not radio friendly enough for general release).

Recently, there has been talk of the Compass Point curse - e.g., a lot of bands that have played main stage at Compass Point have split up shortly afterwards (the "curse" has notably hit McLusky, Jarcrew and Million Dead - all main stage performers - in the past years, alongside several lesser-known local acts).
The band draw their influences from such bands as Clutch, Queens Of The Stone Age, Weezer, Jarcrew, Biffy Clyro, Radiohead and The Beach Boys.
