Fred Meyer Northwest Best is the company's "new concept" store in upscale Northwest Portland near Jeld-Wen Field (formerly PGE Park).
Presently, there is no regularly scheduled use of the turnaround loop here, but it is often used to store trains temporarily for use after events, such as a game at nearby Jeld-Wen Field stadium.
During the summer of 1991, more than 20,000 fans turned out to help the Trail Blazers raise $130,000 at Slam ‘N Jam, an outdoor basketball and music event in what is now Jeld-Wen Field in Portland, Oregon for a trust fund to assist Ramon’s recovery.
