In 1898 the company established a factory in France in Jeumont (France/Belgium border).

Jeumont

They have their origins in the Atelier de Construction Electrique du Nord et de l’Est (ACENE), which became part of the EMPAIN group under the name Forges et Ateliers de Construction Electriques de Jeumont (FACEJ) in 1921, merged with Schneider Westinghouse in 1964 and in 1993 Jeumont Industrie became part of the Framatome group.

SNCF Class BB 60031

The SNCF Class BB 60031 diesel locomotives were built by Homecourt/Jeumont for the Chemin de Fer Paris-Lyon-Méditerranée in 1938.

TCDD E4000

The three units, numbered E4001 - E4003 were built by Alsthom and Jeumont in France.
