In 1991 at the age of 19 he moved to Portugal and played basketball in Leiria having participated in the local Youth Championship playing against teams such as Sporting Clube de Portugal, Barreirense and Academica, while he was studying at Domingos Sequeira Secondary School in Leiria.

And then he moved on to BCI-Banco de Comércio e Indústria in Luanda at the department of International Banking and Trade Room as trader with the role of Analyzing the Angolan economy, Reporting the daily banking transaction (Excel sheet), management of the foreign currency in the correspondent banks, money transferring worldwide and permanent contacts with BCI’s bank correspondents.
