Together with Erin Densham (Australia) and Jodie Swallow (Great Britain) she won the silver medal for her French club.
In 2013 she became the first woman to step up from U23 level and win the senior world title, at London's Hyde Park, with team mate Jodie Stimpson finishing second.
At the age of 14, at her very first ITU triathlon in Alexandroupolis, Sophie Coleman won the gold medal in the Youth Team category together with Kirsty McWilliams and Jodie Stimpson.
