It was revealed that the trio recorded the album between March–April 2011 at the Blasting Room in Fort Collins, Colorado with producers Bill Stevenson, Jason Livermore and Andrew Berlin.

In November of the same year, he performed 8 shows alongside Chuck Ragan, Jim Ward, Audra Mae, and Frank Turner as part of The Revival Tour.
DeSantis has had two side-projects with Lagwagon singer Joey Cape; Bad Astronaut and The Playing Favorites whose debut release "I Remember When I was Pretty..." features Marko singing lead vocals on 2 tracks he wrote ("Futuring" and "Whole Lotta Nothin").
The band continued to gain attention from the skate punk community when Lagwagon vocalist and main songwriter Joey Cape sang on the band's version of Sick from Lagwagon's 1995 album Hoss.
