Annandale Imitation Realists

They met through East Sydney Technical College in 1956 and later studied painting under renowned Australian abstract artist John Olsen.

Lower Light protest statues

The statues were made by local resident and farmer, Stephen Jones, as a protest against the establishment of a dump in the late 1990's by the Olsen government, as part of a plan to replace the Wingfield Waste & Recycling Centre.

National Wine Centre of Australia

Its development by the Olsen Liberal State Government was shrouded in controversy and it was labelled as a white elephant by the Opposition.
