Domenico Fiasella

The Marchese Vincenzo Giustiniani commissioned paintings from him, including Christ Healing the Blind and Christ Raising the Son of the Widow of Nain (both of which were ultimately purchased by John Ringling and bequeathed to the John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art upon his death).

Lotus Isle

In 1928, a temperamental bull elephant named "Tusko" was sold to Lotus Isle from John Ringling.

Lou Jacobs

Starting out as a whiteface clown, he changed to an auguste (clown that has white just around the mouth and eyes) after John Ringling gave him a full-time position as a clown in the 1926 campaign.
